Mike Phelan fired as Hull City manager
The management is reportedly not happy with the manager after he could only lead the team to get 13 points from 20 matches.
The
54-year-old Phelan was initially appointed caretaker manager after the
departure of Steve Bruce in the summer of 2016 before his appointment
was made permanent in October.
Hull City are currently rock bottom of the Premier League standings.
Meanwhile, Swansea have appointed Paul Clement as the new head coach of the club.
The
44-year-old who was assistant manager at Bundesliga leaders Bayern
Munich arrived at the Liberty stadium to sign a 2-and-a-half year
contract with the club.
Boxing Day’s 4 – 1 home defeat to West Ham made it 7 losses since the coach took over on October 3, 2016.
New manager Paul Clement is expected to help the club maintain their Premier League status beyond the current season.
