GBAGADA GENERAL HOSPITAL LITTERS THE ROAD WITH PATIENT'S' BLOOD SAMPLES (PHOTOS)

- Gbagada General Hospital accused of littering the road with blood samples from patients

- Vials of blood samples were seen littering the road around the area where the hospital is located

A Nigerian lady identified as Bimpe Oseni has accused the Gbagada General Hospital in Lagos state of disposing vials of blood samples taken from patients on the road.

According to the lady, a friend of hers took his daughter to the hospital when he found a pile of trash littered around the road with vials of blood samples in it.

Oseni further explained that her friend who was repulsed by the scene took some photos of the trash.

In a Facebook post, the lady urged Nigerians to share the photos in other to drive the government into doing something about it.

She wrote: “My colleague was at Gbagada General hospital with his daughter on Sunday. They drove over a pile of rubbish, out of curiousity, he got out of his car to view the 'rubbish'. But to his great surprise, the pile of rubbish was actually a collection of lab sample containers with blood in them dumped by the road. He almost passed out. Our General hospitals are gradually turning to death centres. This is the height of wickedness!!!Could someone please pass this on until it gets to the appropriate authorities.”
