Man United finally announce Matic signing

- Manchester United announce signing of Nemanja Matic from Chelsea

- The midfielder has signed a four year deal at his new club

- He is expected to play in a midfield three with Pogba and Herrera

Manchester United have announced the signing of Serbian midfielder Nemanja Matic from Chelsea for a fee believed to be £ 40million.

Matic made 40 appearances in all competitions last season but he will see his role reduce this coming season after the arrival of tiemoué bakayoko from AS Monaco.

The Red Devils also announced that the midfielder will wear the number 31 shirt.

24repoters.com  had announced over the weekend that the 28-year-old would be joining Jose Mourinho's side after reject advances from Juventus.

Matic, formerly of Benfica is expected to play deepest in a midfield three with Paul Pogba and Spaniard Ander Herrera.
