A Nigerian man, Michael Asemota, living in Qatar, has returned the sum of QR1.5million (N150million) wrongly deposited in his account by a commercial bank.

In an interview with Qatar Tribune, Asemota said: "After opening the account with the bank, I checked my balance to make withdrawals for a supply job and found the huge sum. I was amazed and decided to contact the bank.
"I went to see the manager to report the error of QR1,502,000 deposited into my account. After checking for confirmation the manager gave me a warm handshake in appreciation."

The government was quoted to have issued Mrs Husseina's query for allegedly misinforming the public about the excess salary mistakenly paid into her account.
Mrs Husseinna's family, however expressed disappointment on the latest development coming from the state government insisting that the allegation against her has brought disgrace to the family.
