There was tension in Abuja on Friday, August 11, when a pro-Buhari group confronted some protesters demanding that President Muhammadu Buhari either resumes or resigns.
24repoters.com reports that the confrontation which occurred at the Unity Fountain could have escalated but for the timely intervention of police offers who created a barricade between both groups.
Shortly after the pro-Buhari group arrived the scene in eight buses, Charles Oputa AKA Charly Boy and other protesters who are demanding the resignation of Buhari drove out of the area in a convoy of cars amid boos from the pro-Buhari group.

Meanwhile, activist and convener of the #OurMumuDonDo movement, Charles Oputa AKA Charly Boy, has lashed out at members of the Senate, over their calls for him to stop protesting about President Muhammadu Buhari’s health condition.
The activist was responding to a statement credited to members of the Senate, that the protesters were being unreasonable, as the president had not committed a crime.
