According to reports reaching 24repoters.com , the Information and Communication Technology Center of the Federal University of Technology Owerri is engulfed in flames.
There is evacuation of flammable substances and other important materials currently on going.
At the time of this report the cause of the fire could not be ascertained as the fire began minutes ago.
According to an observer, only the section of building is on fire and so far in effort is being made to quench the fire.
The school is seeking the attention of relevant authorities to intervene.
24repoters.com previously reported that the House of Rock church in Abuja was on fire.
The church was founded by Pastor Paul Adefarasin reportedly caught fire in the afternoon of Sunday June 25.
Officials of Nigerian Fire Service arrived at the scene with several trucks to put off the fire which continued despite heavy rainfall.
